Citizen Comments - According to Lubbock City Council Rules, any citizen wishing to appear in-person before a regular meeting of the City Council, regarding any matter posted on the City Council Agenda below, shall complete the sign-up form provided at the meeting, no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 28, 2023. Citizen Comments provide an opportunity for citizens to make comments and express a position on agenda items.

Resolution - Lubbock Power & Light: Consider a resolution designating Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC, Octopus Energy LLC, and TXU Energy Retail Company LLC, as Default Retail Electric Providers and Voluntary Retail Electric Providers, for Lubbock Power & Light's certificated area upon Lubbock Power & Light's entry into retail competition, and authorizing the Director of Electric Utilities, or his designee, to execute the Initial Designation of and Agreement with Voluntary Retail Electric Providers and Default Retail Electric Providers, by and between the City of Lubbock, acting by and through Lubbock Power & Light, and each of Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC, Octopus Energy LLC, and TXU Energy Retail Company LLC.
